Co-Ed adult volleyball leagueFormat of Play: Ladder System
Gender: Co-Ed Age: Adult, 18 years or older Divisions: Divisions will be used to initially place teams, League Fee: Please see a detailed description under fees Registration: Preference is given to TEAM Registration for the Sunday League with Individuals placed to pad existing teams. Indivisual Player Registration is better for the Tuesday & Wednesday Night Volleyball League at Abilties Centre. Registration Begins: Monday, July 15th at 8:00 am. In the past it was based on first come first serve. That is not what it will be like going forward - yes -first registered teams will be able to secure their spot to play - however what ever your division standing was for the previous season is the hightest level you can start for in the current one.. Any new teams unknown to DRV will only be able to start at the Semi-Competive Level and can demonstrate their skill set by moving up or down the ladder system. *All TEAM registration will be done online by the captain - please note that if a captain registers a team...every player on that team is responsible for submitting a waiver.Which can be found by visiting the registration page. Individuals will be informed which team they are placed on closer to the start date. Their participation however is not guaranteed Registration Closes: Has been extended to Friday August 30th at 11:00pm or when Registration is FULL. |
Ladder System:
Each team will play every other team in their division for 2 games each week. Games are to 25 points, cap at 25. Time cap of 35 minutes. Each game win = 1 point. Following two weeks of the same schedule, points will be tallied and teams will be ranked 1st thru 4th. The top team (1st) will move up a division. The bottom team (4th) will move down a division. |
